The CPO Seal of Approval is assurance to pool and spa owners from hotels and college pools to water parks that their facilities and swimmers are under the supervision of trained professionals. CPO’s are trained in the most advanced techniques in: safety, water chemistry, maintenance, management, water testing, state health codes and requirements, pool liability, and disease control. Course outline also includes the following topics: Pool Calculations, Filtration and Recirculation, Spas, Water Problems, Renovation, Energy Efficiency, and Suction Safety Laws. The AFO certification will provide the skills necessary to make your facility more safe and efficient. This 2 day course provides in-depth instruction in all facets of aquatic facility operation and management including filtration, disinfection, water testing and treatment, design considerations, facility management, pool safety, new technologies, facility troubleshooting, risk management, hot tub and spa operation, Local and National Laws and much more!! Each class will include a guest speaker discussing new trends in the Aquatics field. Upon successful completion of the 50 question AFO exam, participants will satisfy The State of Minnesota’s certification requirements for Public Pool Operators and will also be certified by the National Certification Board of the NRPA.
