All you need to know before you get started is your pool's volume in gallons, what type of chlorine you are currently using (liquid, cal hypo, dichlor, etc.) and your pool or spa's current reading for the variable you're trying to adjust.
The calculators will give you the approximate amount of chemical to add for the following adjustments:
Raise Total Alkalinity
Raise Calcium Hardness
Raise Cyanuric Acid (Stabilizer) Level
Raise Chlorine Level
Lower (Neutralize) Chlorine Level
Shock (Superchlorination)
If you don't see the adjustment you need to make or you still have questions about adding chemicals to your pool or spa, please contact us.
Please Note: All chemical recommendations are for pools and spas under normal conditions. All calculated amounts are approximate. Horizon Commercial Pool Supply, Inc. is not responsible for any chemicals you add to your pool, or for any liability resulting from following the suggestions made on this web page. When in doubt, add less chemical than called for and re-test before adding more. For further information, please contact us.
