The LaMotte P-6740-G DPD 1A Reagent is a high-purity liquid reagent formulated for accurate free chlorine testing in pool and spa water. This 2 oz dropper bottle is designed for use with LaMotte ColorQ 2x photometers and other LaMotte liquid reagent-based testing systems.
DPD 1A is the first of a two-part reagent system (used with DPD 1B) that reacts with chlorine in the water to produce a color change measurable by digital photometers or comparator blocks. The DPD method is trusted by pool professionals for its accuracy, speed, and industry-standard compliance.
