The LaMotte 6999A-J DPD #1 Tablets are used to test free chlorine levels in pool, spa, and drinking water using colorimetric test kits. These tablets are individually sealed in foil-backed, blister-style strips for easy handling and long shelf life. When added to a water sample, DPD #1 tablets react with free chlorine to produce a pink color that can be measured visually using a comparator or electronically with a photometer.

These are the standard first-step reagent in DPD testing protocols and are compatible with LaMotte Octa-Slide®, ColorQ®, and other test systems that accept tablet-style reagents.
